Hey, I'm Troy...

...and I make games. I also make software, tools and all kinds of stuff. I specalise in Unity but recently have been doing everything from NodeJS to Swift. You can find my CV here if you're interested.

STUFFED

I worked with Waving Bear Studios to build gameplay features for STUFFED; an FPS wave-based co-op shooter.


I implimented unique enemies and coded drops and powerups, amongst other gameplay features.


UnderKnight

I worked with TruePlayers on their debut title UnderKnight; an action 'roguelite' adventure game for mobile.


This included designing and implimenting player profiles, game economy and persistent challenges and events.


Homebound

Homebound

Some friends and I built a choice-driven game about managing your mental well-being throughout lockdown, inspired by Reigns.

Inkbound

I developed some tech called Mobilize, which allowed players to turn their phones into controllers. The idea was to expand the local co-op experience, and not limit the fun to the number of controllers you had on-hand.


Inkbound was the second game to use this technology, a D&D style adventure game that had the action on-screen, and the character sheets, dialogue options and input selection on their mobile devices.


RoBoats

The first game made to demonstrate the power of Mobilize technology. RoBoats was an action co-op verses game that had you sailing, shooting and sinking your friends.


This was the first game that used the Mobilize technology; player's would steer the ship and aim the cannons on their mobile devices, rather than a controller.

QuizKit

QuizKit is a Twitch extension that lets you turn your livestream into a live interactive gameshow. I managed backend development of the extension, which supported thousands of concurrent players.


I also designed the spin-off show RiskIt and created some promo videos for the products.

Audiomob SDK

Audiomob allows brands and artists to connect with audiences in-game with audio ads. One of the ways we do this is via our Unity SDK, which I've been actively developing for over 2 years.


I designed the architecture of the SDK and continue to build or support the building of new features.
